Dutch hardstyle DJ/producer Headhunterz, Willem Rebergen, has dropped his new collaboration with Krewella “United Kids of the World,” which premiered on Friday’s installment of Pete Tong’s BBC Radio 1. Touted as “the king of hardstyle” electronic music, Rebergen’s alliance with chart toppers Krewella has created a highly anticipated, and exceptionally inventive track. Arguably the most famous hardstyle EDM artist in the world, Rebergen draws influences from all branches of hard techno, house, trance and even hardcore itself for his productions, using a deep, hard-sounding kick drum, intense faded and reversed basslines to accompany the beat. Uniting Rebergen’s renowned hardstyle beats are detuned and distorted sounds with classic delicate Krewella vocals. They are, in turn, enhanced by melodic synths for radio, dance floor, and headphones. This track is sure to continue both the renown sound that surrounds Headhunterz and the Krewella chart-topping trend.
