The Saints are rewriting the rules of Hard Dance through faith, chaos, and connection [Video]

Hard dance has always been about more than BPMs and drops; it’s about belief, release, and the shared chaos that happens when sound and crowd meet at the right moment.

For Jules van de Sant and Rick de Deken, that philosophy lives at the core of The Saints, a duo that’s rapidly carving out a space of their own while staying deeply connected to the culture that shaped them.

Built around their self-defined concept of Holy Madness, the project balances contrast and unity, emotion and intensity, faith and rebellion, and over the past year, that balance has resonated loudly across Europe.

Their turning point came early with an appearance at Defqon.1 Gathering, a stage that tests not just music, but conviction. The response was immediate.

What followed wasn’t a rush to capitalize, but a series of deliberate moves that showed the duo understood the weight of momentum.

At Rebirth Festival, The Saints premiered their live show, revealing a more immersive vision that went beyond tracks alone. The set leaned into storytelling, atmosphere, and tension, offering a clearer picture of what Holy Madness represents when translated to a live environment.

From there, the stages grew larger, Intents Mainstage, and Supremacy, with each appearance placing them in front of massive crowds and further solidifying their presence within the hard dance circuit.

Yet it’s in clubs where their connection feels especially personal. Sold-out headline shows across Germany proved their ability to draw and hold loyal audiences, while a standout performance at Fabrik Madrid showcased their command of one of Europe’s most respected hard dance rooms. These nights weren’t about spectacle alone; they felt communal, almost ritualistic.

Musically, The Saints’ rise has been anchored by records that feel authentic to their identity. “OG Raver” quickly became a cornerstone of their sets, striking a chord with fans who recognize its raw, unfiltered energy. An official remix for Sub Zero Project marked a major milestone, signaling recognition from some of the scene’s most influential figures and pushing their sound to a global audience.

Now, the duo is preparing for what they see as a defining new phase.

A fresh live show is currently in development, designed to deepen the visual and emotional layers that have become essential to their performances. Multiple collaborations are slated for 2025, including a follow-up with The Purge titled Maria / I Like It Loud, building on the impact of “OG Raver.”

Recently, they also introduced a new outro, “Legacy,” which has already become a highlight across festival sets, often closing shows on a moment that feels both explosive and reflective.

There’s also growing buzz around unreleased material, with fans picking up on hints of a possible “Sweet Nothing” cover woven into recent performances.

Industry voices continue to point to The Saints as one of the fastest-rising acts in hard dance, and among fans and DJs alike, “OG Raver” is already being tipped as a strong contender for the 2025 Top 100.
