In Tehran, DJs Anoosh and Arash spend their time producing music and selling albums under the counter as well as organising illegal parties in the Iranian desert. In 2014 the pair are invited to play at the biggest street party in the world: the Zurich Street Parade. Upon landing in Switzerland, the haze of the instant euphoria evaporates quickly, when the seriousness of the situation starts to dawn on them. Anoosh and Arash decide to stay and claim asylum in Switzerland, leaving their loved ones behind, in order to pursue their dream.
Directed by German filmmaker Susanne Regina Meures, Raving Iran is a new and incredible documentary about Anoosh and Arash otherwise known as Blade & Beard ("B&B"). April 27th 2017 sees Unleash, the London party collective, present an incredibly unique event – screening Raving Iran at hub of East London nightlife, Village Underground. The event will begin with the official premiere of the documentary, followed by a Q&A with Anoosh and Arash. The night will end with an exclusive performance by the duo as part of their Raving Iran club takeover.
