You may remember Rhyon Brown from her role on "Lincoln Heights" or starring as Michel’le in “Surviving Compton”, but Rhyon is now making her presence felt in music. The quadruple threat has teamed up with the multi-talented producer Harmony Samuels for her debut project titled Pretty Girl. Today, Rhyon has released a visual for the second single "Gone".
With Rhyon's acting background and having studied film at the University of Southern California, her music video's cinematic style is no surprise. It opens with Rhyon receiving what seems to be a butt dial from her boyfriend, where she hears him talking about looking to “smash” someone other than her. We then see her flashback to moments with him that lead us to a dark space with spotlights. Rhyon gives us Ciara mixed with Janet Jackson vibes with her combo of singing and dancing.
"Gone", which features a sample of Blackstreet's "Don't Leave Me", is a hard-hitting, r&b cut about not looking to share your man with someone else. Rhyon sings in the chorus "my love's gone." While she sings of her love being gone, your new found infatuation with this song and visual won't be.
Look for the next chapter of the story and Rhyon's debut project Pretty Girl soon.
