Milwaukee-based Grammy-winning singer-songwriter Grace Weber has carved a space for herself by writing songs for the likes of Chance the Rapper while continuing to develop her own sound and style. Her debut album, A Beautiful Space garnered her more buzz and she has gone on to release multiple singles since then.
Her latest effort is titled "Lonely" and it's a mid-tempo unapologetic anthem that explores the concept of finding the strength to love oneself despite what society says. Over Akeel Henry's smooth and lush backdrop, Grace embodies the spirit of a woman who is more than confident in her own skin and finds ways to appreciate who she is in the truest sense. Her songwriting is quite ingenious and it feels like she is penning a letter to someone but it's actually to herself. She acknowledges that no one can know her as she does and she goes the whole nine to fully bask in her own glory.
