UK singer James Vickery is currently getting ready to release his debut album with the release of its lead single, “Somewhere, Out There.” It's the follow up to “I Don’t Wanna Wake Up,” with Dutch singer Marie Dahlstrøm,"
Vickery taps into nostalgia with lovelorn elements on this moody and introspective record. He teams up with his longtime collaborator Maths Times Joy who crafts the most suited instrumental to convey the song's thoughts on being separated from your loved ones. From his layered vocal runs and somewhat melancholic energy to the warm textures, the record sure hits the spot showcasing Vickery's knack for crafting highly infectious songs that grip the soul.
