Multi-faceted artist Dynesti came to our notice some odd years ago when she dropped a fiery unapologetic single "60 Days Notice" that showcased her lyrical prowess. On her newest release titled "Where To Drive", the Toronto artist dives into her background and ancestry to deliver a profound piece. The track has a laidback and soulful somber feel courtesy of the producer AudioGibbs who makes use of lush acoustic guitars and punchy drums.
Dynesti taps into what makes her tick with lines like "Rather live in a cave no TV, throwing shade at the world/Not ashamed when the game don't see me, I don't aim at the world." She reveals that her path is unbeaten and her focus remains solely on self-development away from the drama of the world.
For the video, she goes for something straightforward and scenic. The visual is particularly interesting for its expressiveness and slick cut scenes featuring a vibrant dance-off between Dynesti and an unnamed man. "Where To Drive" is taken from Dynesti's LP The Dyna: Say Grace. She explains via email that the project will explore a wide variety of topics from love, life, and much more. The project will be delivered in five parts: Say Grace, followed by the future release of Breakfast, Lunch, The Last Supper, and Dessert.
