Dublin based singer-songwriter Honas has released a brand new cinematic single five years in the making titled. "I Can Get You Out Of This."
Honas has had a very busy 2020 with the release of four back-t0-back straight singles this year alone. With heavy inspiration from the likes of Bon Iver, The 1975 and Ben Howard, Honas has built a cult following off his amazing guitar riffs, swirling synths, and minimalistic songwriting structure. This signature sound he's created features a blend of familiar tones but his earnest songwriting brings it to new heights.
On this new track, Honas tells the story of having a friend or a partner who struggles with mental health issues. The track's heavy concept is executed perfectly by the combination of light breathy vocals and gentle guitar strumming. The ambient synths layered underneath provide an eerie sense of suspense and concern. The energetic drums present an even heavier depth of feeling to each lyric. The vocal delivery is moody, subtle and heartbreakingly beautiful.
