Hard rock and metal, reggaeton and regional Mexican music come together in “No Que No,” a new tack by Mexican group Ladrones, including four members, vocalists Zxmyr and Cirujano Resendez, guitarist José Macario, and drummer Diego Zornoza.
The group from Jalisco, Guadalajara bring their signature swag in the more than 3-minute anthem about standing ground and staying respected, “Que nunca falte la salud, familia ni billete. Se creen bien verga pero yo sé que aca no se meten. Yo les enseño como se hace, para que respeten. Ya le había dicho a tu morrita que no me etiquete."
Driven by electric guitars, pounding drums, and infectious reggaeton rhythms, the track evokes a cinematic sense of freedom.
It's the kind of song that makes you throw on your black sunglasses and leather jacket, hop on your motorcycle, or into your car, and drive off into the sunset. With its smoldering, larger-than-life energy, the track feels tailor-made for a film starring Spanish actor Antonio Banderas.
Ladrones is set to release their album, Arriba La L on August 28.
