Just last month electronic French duo The Geek x Vrv began building anticipation for their debut LP Time Machine, with their percussive and instrumentally groovy single "Kanagawa Waves 1831." Today, they return for a collaborative effort with multi-talented producer and musician Gramatik (check out the evolution from 2013, with our interview here), it's been a long time for these producers and their latest work “Royale With G's 2013” is a funky number full of staple live instrumentation, out today.
Bass meets, saxophone, meets synth work, on the latest single. The single even has Gramatik's elements of hip-hop influences, and sampling, that he's been effortlessly including and infusing in his work, which has never been too set on being confined to one box. It's a collaborative effort well done for all the parties involved.
