Shani B's newest single "Nostalgia" sees the young emcee working on her self as she plows through her past. Teaming up with producer and hip-hop artist Raydar Ellis, the two craft a bass-laden, sinister-sounding beat, as Shani B takes the listener deep into her psyche and details all the kinks she is trying to fix.
"Nostalgia" can be called a mental musical trip as we see Shani reflect on past errors, pain and the eventual acceptance of her fate in order to grow. She starts off from a place of anger and ends it with understanding providing an element of self-discovery and forgiveness. As the song concludes, she asserts that perhaps many of her current life issues are directly related to unaddressed trauma from her past, and decides to actively take part in rectifying her situation.
"Nostalgia" is her first single for 2019 and comes after she released 3 singles last year.
