DA-MOVEMENT's new single "24's," featuring Johnny P and Never of Crucial Conflict, is the result of dedication, creativity, and an amazing journey back from the brink of oblivion. This record is a memorable moment for fans, as two respected voices, Johnny P and Never of Crucial Conflict, join forces for the first time on the same track.
The road to "24's" wasn't a typical road. The hard drive it was stored on died catastrophically, and the recording was thought lost for good. That changed in early 2026, when engineer Rae Nimeh spent 60 days piecing together the damaged files. His amazing effort saved the song, gave it new life, and what seemed impossible became what can only be called an audio resurrection.
The single was mixed by Rae Nimeh and features a Dolby Atmos spatial master engineered by two-time Grammy winner Mike Tucci, for an immersive listening experience that matches the scale of its incredible backstory. Produced by the late Jason Pamon, "24's" has a lot of sentimental value. The project was recovered successfully, and DA-MOVEMENT was hit with the heartbreaking loss of Jason after his private battle with cancer.
It is a celebration of music and a fitting tribute to a producer whose creative vision was instrumental in helping define the identity of music. The group's continued creative momentum is also evidenced by the recent Official Finalist designation of "All Black Everything" for the 2026 InterContinental Music Awards. "24's" is a refreshing addition to hip-hop today, with its historic collab, incredible production journey, and emotional base.
