Chris Lake and Walker & Royce team up on ‘Close Your Eyes’ EP

In 2013, we looked to Chris Lake for progressive house bangers. But there was always something different about the English producer and DJ's contribution to the dance and house movements, with songs that didn't follow a specific formula like "Sundown," "Ohh Shhh" and "Build Up."

Since then, Lake has become Grammy-nominated for his efforts, some that have gradually been realized into a new frontier of the deep and the underground. He's still maintained a unique perspective in his music, anointing his own label, Black Book Records, in 2017. For his latest release on his label, he's collaborated with rising name-to-know Dirtybird duo Walker & Royce on a joint EP, Close Your Eyes. The two-track EP has everything we'd want in a house record – or underground record – release, with everything from 90's influences, entrancing synths and bass-led production.
