Icarus used the motto of "quality over quantity" in 2017. The three singles they released – "King Kong," "Trouble," and "No Sleep" were each debuted with various top notch BBC Radio 1 MC's, now, with the release of their latest track, seemingly all building to this moment. Because the single they released today, "Love Has Come Around," is something to stop your day for.
Using a sample from the eponymous Donald Byrd's 1981 soul hit, the UK duo know what they're doing with this one, admittedly acknowledging that once you hear "Love Has Come Around," it won't leave you for days. The first track off of their forthcoming EP In The Dark that's due out in spring 2018, it explores new territory while also incorporating their signature atmospheric underground disco style.
