Ah, to see members of production collectives mature in their careers. Such a rewarding experience, coming from confusing, elusive beginnings where it's hard to tell who is who, if there are multiple people working together under one name or multiple names. The latter was the situation in which we discovered Yung Bae back in the day, who, from what we could gather from his strange SoundCloud account, was in cahoots with josh pan, the now defunct Babel and others in promoting his rather amazing, disco-infused music. Now, Yung Bae is the real thing, releasing multiple albums, Skyscraper Anonymous, BA3, and Bae2 in 2016. He's still collaborating with old friends like pan, and new friends like Brasstracks. Bonus, we even know he's from San Diego now!

Today we're on his latest release, a remix with a fellow artist of the new generation and newly controversial rapper, Rich Chigga. The track, "Dat $tick," features Ghostface Killah and Pouya, and is disco gold, plainly. It's out for free download too – even better.
