Jaymes Young – "Two More Minutes" [Video]

Jaymes Young, an artist hailing from Washington, has been on repeat for me the past couple of months. Having first heard his "Dark Star" and his cover of Haddaway's "What Is Love", Jaymes provides a refreshing voice among the overly auto-tuned music scene while maintaining a focus on meaningful lyrics. Following the release of his full EP, Dark Star, Jaymes gives us a stripped down, intimate, and live video to his popular "Two More Minutes". It's a simplistic video filled with close-up shots, and the purposeful strumming of a guitar. We hear not only the power of his voice, but the emotional power that this track thrives upon. If you find yourself a fan, Jaymes is getting ready to embark on a mini-tour with English trio London Grammar as they visit stateside, before jetting off with them back to the UK for a couple of shows. Check out the dates below, and be sure to grab a copy of Dark Star in case you've yet to familiarize yourself with Jaymes Young. As an added bonus, Jaymes is also releasing the stems to "Two More Minutes" which you can

      grab here
. Feel free to remix the track, sample, do whatever your heart desires, and send my way to check out.
