Bristol born and bred duo Cutline have the latest offering to come out of the Black Butter Records camp. Rudimental's track "Feel The Love" has been getting some attention from all over the shop, including a spot on BBC Radio 1's playlist, an advert that involves a man dancing to advertise a car and was named Zane Lowe's hottest record in the world.
Where the original was a hotly tipped crossover dance track which has followed a path laid out by Chase and Status and Pendulum before them, Cutline has taken it all the way back to the clubs and into the contemporary dubstep arena. While there are aspects of the track which are becoming all too familiar, throughout the land of dubstep, the vocals, provided by John Newman, give the track some depth and keep it from simply becoming a dancefloor wobbler.
