Talking about the album, he says, “At the start of August 2025 I challenged myself to write an album in 6 weeks, when all I had was the title 'YOUFORIA'. I felt the most inspired in my creative career to push the boundaries of what could be done and the songs just kept coming. I ended up writing 10 songs in total all celebrating YOU. Romanticing every bit of life, even the weaknesses, the failures and the shortcomings. Not hiding them, but celebrating them as part of life. Diamond Skin came first and ironically has tinges of mourning the loss of creative inspiration. Little did I know it would be the start of my most prolific 6 weeks as a songwriter, ever."
