Earlier this week, OTHERLiiNE, the new joint project from George FitzGerald and Lil Silva, debuted their second track as a unit entitled "Hates Me." Following the release of "Chimes" in August, the two artists have confirmed the longevity of their OTHERLiiNE project with the announcement of the track and an album due out January 10, 2020.
After debuting as Annie Mac’s Hottest Record on BBC Radio 1, "Hates Me" sees OTHERLiiNE employ both the production and vocal abilities from the duo's talent pool. Moody melancholy envelops the production and vocal sampling, with a restraint in hand that makes for maximum effect of each production element on their own and as a part of the whole. A simple vocal, layered with samples of itself, blue piano and a firm bassline mark this is as excellent work.
The OTHERLiiNE project will be released via Ministry of Sound.
