Inspired by an apocalyptic nightmares, the track acknowledges the haunting sensibilities beneath the instrumentation while still embracing change with elegance. The emotive track is accompanied by cinematic visuals that elevate the message of transformation with its symbolic imagery.
Speaking of the track, Etienne says, “I hope people can feel the radical self acceptance of pushing through the fear of something ending and learn to take their time in love and in life through releasing outcomes. I hope people can feel my vulnerability and in turn also feel in touch with their own vulnerabilities.”
She adds, "This song is from my EP Happy Heartbreak which details the love and forgiveness of leaving a relationship with your head held high and taking all the lessons learned from it to grow and be better. My most recent EP Fear God Not Man goes deeper into that heartbreak and explores more than just the love and light in leaving but the true raw anger in having to make the decision to leave my ex to build a better life for me and my kids."
