Seattle duo NAVVI, comprised of members Kristin Henry and Brad Boettger, weaves a parable of humanity in the form of their newest single, "Human Highlight Reel" – an encapsulation of raw human emotions, an odyssey of finding out what it means to be human.
"Human Highlight Reel" opens with a monochromatic elegance; ethereal, dream-like, Kristin's voice reverberates through Brad's masterfully crafted exalting electro-pop synths and acoustics, drawing listeners up close and personal. The electrifying blend of all-consuming widescreen beats, with a soulful, angelic voice, balances effervescence and raw power with unmistakable grace. In itself, "Human Highlight Reel" whilst uplifting, also seemingly blankets a layer of sadness over it, exemplifying the dualities of humanity. Weaving the parable of humanity, NAVVI utilizes eclectic sonic textures to meld with the existing tones, painting a visceral picture in our minds.
