Some times there are songs that just make you feel good, and Iceland born singer-songwriter Junius Meyvant is the master of delivering those. With a sound reminiscent of Fleet Foxes, The Black Keys, Father John Misty and Beirut, Meyvant has released a bonus track from his debut album Floating Harmonies. The song features seamless horn, string and guitar parts that bubble over into happy melodies.
Floating Harmonies has been making waves in the music industry and KEXP's Programming Director Kevin Cole chose the album as one of the top ten released in 2016. Meyvant has already toured Europe and is coming to the US with a four-man band on May 2nd and 4th in New York and Los Angeles. Catch him at Rockwood Music Hall in New York on the 2nd and at Hotel Cafe in Los Angeles on the 4th.
