TAC XII is a local San Diegan with a mission set out to conquer 2015 before it's all over. He released his first project just over a year ago, and now we are gearing up for his newest drop CULTURE out on December 12. Much to my liking, we just received the first drop titled "Black Mamba" for a mix of reasons.
"Welcome to the show." That's what the boys in TAC's crew are all preaching. Half of their inspiration is derived from Kobe Bryant, and the other half is the darkness of the new track. I've heard tons of the young rapper's unreleased tracks, and this one is far from the average. Produced by Atherton, the instrumental is worthy of being it's own dark, dub song. TAC goes hard during his part, almost like it's a garage rock track. I love to see him change it up, but I'm also a fan of his lyrical, Wale-like pieces. A huge trait for young rappers today is their ability to change form, from genre to genre. In my opinion, this track is a great stepping stone for TAC, and I can't wait for CULTURE next month.
