Today is the release of Astro Zu's second EP, On and On. Described as "breathtaking electronica from the outer reaches of an interplanetary imagination," Astro Zu have taken out of this world and stretched it to surreal lengths.
Dreamy and ambient, with enough danceable pop elements throughout, the two track release is reminiscent of the 2011 electro-pop wave, while still carrying elements of newer musical genres, such as the rising jersey club style. These songs have their hand firmly embedded into the past, present, and future, creating a surreal feeling that simultaneously feels like music of an alternate reality, yet with a grip on our nostalgic memories.
The EP, which features tracks "On and On," as well as the spectacular b-side, "Baby I Don't Know Why" are released via Bad Life.
