Longtime creative partners Aurelia & Icarus Moth built PROMETHEAUS, a vivid, conceptual universe explored through music, film, and language. The multi-talented artists marry expansive soundscapes and queer otherworldly escapism on their upcoming five-track EP, PROMETHEANS.
Rooted in vivid narratives and rich, experimental sonic textures, the project is led by “ABRASIVE,” a raw and honest exploration of the senses brought to life by spontaneity and catharsis. Speaking of the track produced by Icarus, Aurelia says, I walked into the studio filled with rage, as Icarus Moth was building this beautifully chaotic track. The vocals — like most on this project — were recorded as a one-take freestyle where they just let me fly.”
The track is accompanied by visuals that further elevate the boundary-breaking core of the sonics, drawing us into a personal yet expansive world that feels fun and bold all at once.
