Suffolk-hailing alt-pop artist Loome has dropped his eagerly awaited debut album Astrohearts. Following a series of successful singles and a spot on BBC Introducing’s ‘Sound of 2023’, Loome’s first full-length release highlights his ability to merge emotive songwriting with catchy pop melodies and alternative flair.
The solo project of Tomas Frankson, Astrohearts was crafted entirely in his home studio, where he played, engineered, mixed, and mastered every track himself. The album was born from a deeply personal time, after Frankson received life-changing news. “I came face to face with my own mortality" he explains, "This album is about me finding the joy in life and for the first time facing up to the fragility of it all.”
Across its eight tracks, Astrohearts showcases Loome’s signature blend of bright electronics, atmospheric guitars, and introspective lyrics, with pop hooks that stick.
