Sugi Dakks is a multi-instrumentalist, rapper, singer and poet. Growing up in a small town, the mixed race artist (Japanese and African-American) often felt as if he didn't belong. Turning to slam poetry and advocacy for solace and purpose, Sugi Dakks soon also began creating music, touching audiences around the globe.
