Illinois pop musician Rkham explores the feeling of not wanting to let someone go even if it’s best for you on “Hanging On,” a sleek slice of pop built upon airy synths and crisp drums brought seamlessly together by Rkham’s high-energy vocal delivery.

Delving into painful themes of toxic love while offsetting with an upbeat instrumental, the electro-tinged production, mixed and mastered by Grammy-nominated producer Jeff Solka(KING & COUNTRY, Monster X), is framed by a lulling, hypnotic vibe that ebbs and flows around the rising artist’s dreamy voice.

Growing steadily since bursting onto the scene in 2018, Rkham has made a space for himself in the heart of music lovers with his well-rounded pop style. Now with this latest offering, he continues his ascent up into stardom, with much more music ready and set to take him forward in his musical journey.
