LA-emcee Pawz One's latest venture is a reflective and laidback jam titled "Good With That." The record is filled with soft somber keys, melancholic strings, and a punchy boom-bap drum groove courtesy of French production duo Dooz and Polo. On here, Pawz One runs through a wide range of memories as he deals with the good, the bad, and the ugly ones. Despite the melancholic texture, the rapper gives the listener a balanced view of life in the city of angels, reminding us that life is never a walk in the park and we must all accept whatever cards we get dealt.
The visuals are handled by Asimoff who helps capture the rapper's somber view in copious amounts. He makes use of performance shots, old footage of Pawz One and splices them with clips that capture the cityscapes. Asimoff takes us through the 'burbs to various parts of the city but you should also lookout for a split-second shot of someone in their birthday suit on skid row.
