Singer and rapper JUSTY caught our attention some years back with the song "Try" which displayed her emotion-filled, personal style of music. The emerging artist is currently preparing for her debut album and in the interim, she shares an intimate single "Rinse, Repeat, Regress." The Brooklyn-born rapper wrote the song last summer after a tough breakup that led to her seeking therapy and finding her way back from the doldrums.
Armed with her somewhat nonchalant melodic flow and using the inner melancholy as her fuel, JUSTY delivers pure honesty over the somber and soulful production. She takes the listener through her troubled emotions and shows us how she found peace at the end of the day by loving herself. The self-proclaimed old soul taps into her experiences and presents different allegories to get her story across.
"Rinse, Repeat, Regress" is the follow up to her recent releases "Blues on the Crosley," "Cool," and "Expectations."
