Europe and Africa collide on this new track titled "Enough For You" between Norwegian producer Ol' Burger Beats and South African emcee Vuyo. The former kicked off his career in 2014 dropping instrumental tapes and playing live sets at different Boiler rooms while the latter made his debut in 2018 with his Home Cooked Meals EP. Both acts are currently based in Norway and working on a collaborative project that is set to drop via Jarkata records.
"Enough For You" is a reflective record that serves as an introduction to the duo even though they have been doing their thing for a while now. Over the moody, solemn textures crafted by Ol' Burger Beats, Vuyo pens his thoughts on his transition to Norway from his home country of South Africa. He reflects on being rootless for a period and all the emotions that come with finding a new place to call home at the end of it all. "Enough For You" is the first song recorded by both artists and serves as the precursor to their upcoming project, Dialogue set for release Feb 19th, 2021.
Ol’ Burger Beats is also a DJ and UX designer for NRK Radio while Vuyo doubles as a member of the Norwegian arts collective North Of and neo-soul group GiddyGang. Pre Order Dialogue here.
