Rising hip-hop group Shoreline Mafia have returned with a remix of the Q Da Fool-assisted "Gangstas and Sippas," this time enlisting Los Angeles heavyweight YG to round out the dynamic track. The single marks Shoreline Mafia's first official collaboration with YG, long-awaited by fans of West Coast rap.
In typical YG fashion, the guest verse is as brazen as it is playful. He approaches the track with rap royalty bravado, laying down audacious rhyme after rhyme without faltering. Repping Compton and flaunting his wealth in the same line, he raps, "From the block straight to Rodeo / Hit Saint Laurent with a bankroll." Complete with a booming instrumental, stellar features, and hard-hitting bars, "Gangstas and Sippas" is sure to garner heavy play time as colleges begin opening up again this fall.
