GUDFELLA and Klo join forces for intoxicating dance pop single "Get Lost"

Electronic artist GUDFELLA has teamed up with Denver-based producer Klo for "Get Lost," a heady dance pop single that moonlights as a festival-ready future bass jam.

GUDFELLA, who is based in Orange County, did a fantastic job not only with the sound design of "Get Lost," but also its arrangement. Its easy for a beat-maker to simply copy and paste elements throughout an arrangement, but GUDFELLA fluently oscillates between different rhythms, often opting to produce in half-time. That decision beautifully builds tension and lends to spacey soundscapes, which allow for the single's downright intoxicating vocal effort to shine through. He also keeps us on our toes by seamlessly introducing new sonic techniques as the track progresses, like fluttering arpeggios that run roughshod through the second drop. The final result is a bouncy and buoyant future bass jam that serves as an uplifting respite from the never-ending wheel of unfortunate coronavirus-related news.
