Rhymes is an all-male band fronted by a powerful woman, including co-writer Bill Moore, vocalist Kam Jones, and percussionist Paul DeCastr. The band delivers a lively, uplifting mood to their new single aptly titled "The Party" featuring classically trained singer Summer Dennis. The funky record sees singer Dennis give thanks for the simplest things in life with a passionate vocal performance over a smooth groovy backdrop. She brings the message home on the bridge where she sings “Be thankful for another day of living your life, be grateful for the many things you’ve got going right…"

The Washington DC-based, soul and funk band sure know how to raise the ante as they bring the entire gang to come out in full force to celebrate with them. Dennis adds that the video is a visual representation of her life as she surrounds herself with familiar faces. She calls in her siblings, mother, cousins and close relatives to come out and have fun on set making it a tight-knit family affair while honoring another relative who died earlier this year.

"The Party" is taken from the band's upcoming album.
