Vic Sage has no worries of being ‘Broke & Happy’

Vic Sage has been putting in work for a while now since hisc2016 debut and has since gone on to get placements with major entities such as the Seattle Seahawks and Gary Vee. His newest summer-themed release is an 8-track project titled 'Broke & Happy'.

The Omaha, Nebraska-based rapper sure knows how to kick off the summer as he uplifts listeners right off the bat with the sun-kissed opener titled "Lemonade", featuring the vocal assists of MontyTheHokage. The follow up "No Stress" keeps the energy high as Sage stays stress-free over an upbeat trap banger. On "Gassed Up", he doesn't fail to flex his verbal muscles laced with bravado and undeniable confidence and he also brings in Xander Austin who also chimes in on the flexing. He slows the tempo back down during "Come Thru" as the lyrics detail a one-on-one session between him and an unnamed lady. "Tesla" goes for a more darkly pop vibe with a smooth melody laced vocals and a singalong style chorus.

In all, 'Broke and happy' has a vibe for everyone as the project taps into a wide range of sounds while keeping the trap essence prevalent from start to finish. It's definitely a project everyone can sit back and cruise to.
