DMC world champion and producer Chris Karns makes a splash on our pages with his new song titled "SPARKLEMUFFIN". Transitioning from spinning on the wheels of steel to banging out beats wasn't hard for the veteran DJ and he is now currently working on his new body of work. "SPARKLEMUFFIN" comes as a tip of the proverbial iceberg as Karns gets into his bag on this energetic jam complete with heavy drums, anthemic horns, and cinematic textures. He doesn't stop there as we won't call him a champ if he didn't throw in some expertly done cuts into the mix.
The whole arrangement is pretty dynamic as the various textures in the production slowly transition into different parts from the bright synth section to the gloomy vocal sample parts making it engaging from start to end. The title may seem remotely close to what we hear but it could be for the fact that both the track and those spiders stay jumpy from time to time.
Also, the title was suggested by Karn's daughter so that goes without saying.
