Texas native, Medasin has joined forces with Kathleen to deliver what could only be described as a sublime as hell summer love song. ‘Always Afternoon’, released on ALT:VISION, embodies Medasin’s classic smooth jazz sound, adding yet another flawless number to his catalogue.
Kathleen’s tender voice moves swiftly over the lush synths creating an atmospheric feel. If you close your eyes while listening to this song, you can picture yourself in a sunny room in some cute house dancing and laughing with the person you love. No matter your gender, you’re wearing a flowy dress and everything feels warm.
On a steady climb since 2016, Medasin has really honed in on his sound, and although it seems he’s constantly evolving, he just keeps sounding more and more like himself. His airy synths and soft melodies paired with some velvety vocals have proven to be a recipe for success for the 21 year old producer.
