Summer may be approaching, but TRKRNR wants you to know that they always bring the heat regardless of the season. The Richmond, California duo (pronounced “track runner”) are premiering a new video today for their dreamy single “No Summer Days.” TRKRNR joined forces with fellow Bay Area artist Trailer Limon (of the San Francisco group The Pendletons) for the track that will be released along with the tune “Stimulate” on March 22. The new video aptly reflects the collaboration as it celebrates the Bay Area’s diverse culture and music scene.

Saul Vallens and Gyrefunk, the two artists who comprise TRKRNR, grew up together in San Jose and the new video shows their deep appreciation for the artistic richness of the region. The visuals from Pablo Circa and Amanda Beane show scenes of a house party hosted by Oakland artist Astu, with slow gliding shots of people vibing, dancing, and just enjoying each other’s company. The patient, deliberate camera work offers an appropriate visual component to “No Summer Days,” which features a laidback groove and beautifully hazy production. TRKRNR’s music and video both represent the deep soul of everyday life, particularly in a place teeming with artists like the Bay Area.
