Techno producer SAMA drops his second EP entitled Wings of Desire on Pleasurekraft’s label Kraftek. "Sama" is a Japanese term that means someone you have respect for or someone you look up to, which is exactly the patch this Utrecht-born producer is on. Since releasing his first EP Existence in late 2017, SAMA has gained a lot of traction with releases on labels such as Hi Tek, Devotion Records, Noir Music and Kraftek, and from playing shows all around Europe.
The 3-track EP provides fans with a generous serving of cosmic techno – a special brand of techno conceived by Pleasurekraft that represents the beauty that is born from violence and destruction and makes you feel like you're on a dancefloor somewhere in outer space.
“Wings of Desire” is a relentless first track that goes full tilt with its dark trancey synths, while “Fallen” has a bit of gospel-eque vibe to it. “Loveblind” sends us on an inner journey, with intense vocals that talk about our society’s need for instantaneity – instant communication, transportation, money, and answers. The truth is that “some problems you can’t get quick answers to.” A truth-bomb you wouldn’t necessarily expect in a techno track.
