Experimental band Takykardia grace our pages again with their unique brand of trippy soul-music as they gift the world the visuals for their new single "Ritula".
The title is actually a portmanteau of the name Rita and Betula (Latin for Birch tree). Never straying from their unpredictable ways, the band delivers a blend of musical styles ranging from pop and soul with a whole lot of experimental touches. The ethereal soundscape blends very well with the airy, low vocals that weave with varying dynamics as the track builds up slowly.
The visual is handled by their front-figure Luna Matz who helps take the band's unorthodox style to a whole new level. Matz sets it in an alternate universe she termed as the Taky-World where everything is anything. The band is shown in their element while a certain focus is placed on each member from scene to scene. Things get particularly interesting around the 2:17 mark when the track switches into a mid-tempo groove and the members break into a Taky-inspired dance routine
