Over the past year, Toronto's Desiire has been crafting a unique sonic palette; dipping his paintbrush in the afrobeat tunes of his native Congo and blending it with the smooth strokes of R&B and soul. Desiire has once again exhibited his multicoloured versatility on the contagious banger, “Paradise”. His buttery vocals effortlessly melt into the funky go-go beat, making it nearly impossible to listen to the track without erupting into your grooviest dance moves.
It is clear that Desiire works deliberately with the production, not just over it. The kinetic energizer is complemented by a '90s inspired video directed by Mannik Realm. The creative pair has created a retro mood board that perfectly suits the song’s old school aesthetics.
