Las Vegas rapper Big Homie Stone is getting better. After changing his name from Kiari The Stone and releasing the single "Private Show," he is back with a seven-track project titled Don't Know Don't Kare. The EP is a breathe of fresh air – in part simply due to Stone being Stone. In an era of everyone trying to be someone, Big Homie Stone is releasing music that is unapologetically him and unapologetically Las Vegas. It's gritty, fast-paced, and has hard bars specifically for fans of West Coast hip-hop. In particular, the Zotiyac-assisted track "Like Me" is really, really good. Its quick production pairs well with Stone's rough flows that are fast enough to keep up but never overly sharp. The two artists feed off the other's uptempo energy to show off their chemistry and set the tone for the EP on its second track.
Don't Know Don't Kare is never boring and if a listener finds themselves enjoying any one track, the EP should successfully turn them into a Big Homie Stone fan.
