Armed with a vocal style that is undeniable, Betty Moon caught my attention instantly as I hit play on her "Parachute" record.  The rollicking record takes inspiration from funk, 70s soul music, and rock. To be honest, it's better heard than written about.

The Toronto-born, Hollywood-based act known for her sultry voice, rock 'n' roll attitude, and visionary appeal brings all the aforementioned traits to the forefront on the record. She and her band create an engulfing record that will not only get you grooving, but thinking deeply as well.

"Parachute" is off her upcoming LP titled Chrome, which will be out on the 25th of August this year. Betty Moon further explains the idea behind the project,"…I aim to project a beautiful, destructive, and sexy concept of what life can be like when there is nothing holding you back. The drama, success, and passion for music all come together with this album. Each song was pieced together to tell a story that is bigger than you could imagine. " In a nutshell, Moon dug deep in crafting songs that capture the story of her new life in Hollywood after relocating from Toronto.
