For anyone looking from the UK rap scene from afar, it'd be fairly easy to assume that the majority of the talent centred around London. Whilst a lot of the well known rappers from the British Isles are from the Big Smoke, if you look elsewhere, you'll see there are so many more talented artists in abundance. One of the most energetic & enigmatic rappers to burst onto the seen is actually from a more rural part of the UK; introducing Slowthai. His blend of aggressive flows, clever wordplay & infectious personality, means he's quickly become a favourite amongst rap fans & critics alike, just look at the video for his banger "T N Biscuits" as an example.
The Northampton born rapper is back with some brand new visuals for another new track, entitled "North Nights". This time around, Slowthai pays homage to some classic horror movies including The Shining & Clockwork Orange in his own, unique way. Backed by a spacey instrumental, Slowthai rips through with swagger & style that has seen him become so popular, as he describes trying to move on from his life in the small ends where he grew up, trying to move on to bigger and better things.
