Dream-pop sensation Anna of the North debuted their official music video for "Someone," the second single off their forthcoming album Lovers. Although listeners may assume Anna of the North is a solo project by the name, in reality they are a glistening partnership between Norwegian vocalist Anna Lotterud and New Zealand producer Brady Daniell-Smith. "Someone" opens with beachy vibes and Anna's iridescent voice longing for another lover. It's an evocative tale of losing control, accepting the human calling to make mistakes, and learning from them after your long night out. Throughout the scenes, we see different 'someones' attempt to save Anna whether it be a friend, lover, or stranger. It's a captivating visualization that reminds us loneliness can hit in the bright sunlight or against the luminescent late-night city skyline. Lovers is out September 8th via +1 Records/Honeymoon.
