Daz Rinko recruits theMIND for “SOS”

EARMILK wrote about Daz Rinko's release titled "Following Love" just two months ago. Now last week, the Memphis born artist released his first single off his upcoming EP titled "SOS" featuring theMIND.

SPRILL, a Melbourne based producer, lays down a production that sounds like rain drops during a parade. Daz Rinko flows like Smino over this beat while theMIND threads his vocals through the production like a snake slithering through silk. The song sounds relatively happy at first listen, but after dissecting the lyrics a second time through, you realize it's a rather painful track. Daz said the track was inspired by the recent (#FuckDonaldTrump) election of our President but also the overwhelming amount of homicides that occurred in Memphis in 2016. This track does a really dope job of sending a message of resistance while also sounding so blissful to the ears. Keep fighting boys!
