Atlanta R&B singer Shaun B is back with new visuals for "Savage", the fan favorite off his latest project Cocaine is the Evening. The track speaks on a brief situation and uses hypnotic vocals to harness the wavy instrumental from SlowKings. Although these visuals are very brief, only clocking in around a minute long, they still are able to display a very powerful scene. The video has Shaun B preparing to get extremely intimate with a girl he just met.
"'Savage' was a reflection of a literal situation that happened," Shaun B said. "This girl put her number in my phone and then the song happened. Talk is cheap, especially when it comes to intimacy."
The minute long video is directed by Cam Kirk, who regularly works with Migos, Lil Yachty, and 21 Savage. This is just the beginning for Shaun B. He has three projects coming up in 2017 with Songs About Women, Zones, and Cocaine at Midnight. With production from Metro Boomin, Shaun B is a name you need to watch out for in 2017.
