Mind Of A Genius Records VP and all around talented rapper, Azad is back with a nice little freestyle titled, “Nu Religion Freestyle.” Fans of MOAG (and good music in general) will quickly recognize the beat from the intro track of label mate THEY.’s stellar new (nu) album Nü Religion: HYENA.

Talk about keeping it in the family! Always great to see label mates helping each other out and having fun, especially when the fans get to enjoy the fruits of their labor. “Nu Religion Freestyle” is a quick little freestyle from Azad that shows the jack of all trades is still very serious about his solo game, even when putting up some of the biggest acts in music today. “Fuck a major, I'll go sign myself/ blow up your favorite artist then I'll cosign myself/.”
On the Soundcloud link, Azad went as far to write “The hardest beat of the year. Had to do a lil wreckkid over it.” You know the dude is having fun and is stoked about the success of his mates if he’s spitting a free on their track.
Azad has been pretty quiet since the release of his A Very Emotional EP which dropped this past December, making “Nu Religion Freestyle” a welcome release for fans. No news on any more proper releases at the moment, but you can bet the guy is working hard on something.
