The talent coming out of the Australian electronic music scene hasn't ended with Flume and Anna Lunoe. It's with newer up and coming artists like Gabe and Chevy, known as Indian Summer, and their laidback track "Love Like This," whose vocal appearance and sampling of Lastling is penetrating and familiar.
"Love Like This" will resurface again this week, with the track's remix EP's release coming on Friday. We have a first listen to UK house duo Kry Wolf's take on the track, who will join others including electro artist Bart B More.
Kry Wolf's take on "Love Like This" gets the track ready for the dance floor, combining the original's raw emotion with some upbeat, but moody four-on-the-floor groove. The duo has proven their affinity for subtlety, morphing "Love Like This" into something new but keeping a harmony between that and the track's original form.
