2016 has been marked by amazing collaboration in the electronic music industry, with artists like Madeon & Porter Robinson linking up to work together on music and in the live performance space. But if there's a duo who we watched grow together over this year, it's Kaskade & CID. One half superstar and one half house prodigy, the duo first connected on Kaskade's Automatic album, and this year has seen them remix each other's work, as well as a new original entitled "Sweet Memories." That last piece is now resurfacing for another round, getting new remixed looks.
We have a first listen to one of those remixes ahead of its release tomorrow via Big Beat Records, coming from German house producer Moguai. We've seen Moguai evolve over the years, from a complextro sound to electro. Now, he's unleashed his underground house side on "Sweet Memories," bringing a strong bassline and head-spinning sampling along with him.
